Job Purpose

We are currently seeking to recruit an Accountant within our Financial Control and Global finance Departments

The purpose of the role is to support the Financial Reporting team of Miki Travel Limited and the Group accounting team of Group Miki Holdings on both financial reporting and management accounting. Reporting to Section Managers (depending on task) and overall to the Finance Director

Main Responsibilities:

Management Reporting

• Posting and review of month end journals into Microsoft Dynamics AX 365
• Assist with Preparation and review of selected balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist Finance Manager with analysis and commentary on departmental P&L Statements
• Support with annual budgeting process
• Assist with user testing on the new D365 implementation.

Financial Reporting

• Assist with year-end audit queries
• Preparation and produce a global accounting manual  under International Financial Reporting (IFRS)
• Assist with transition of Group to IFRS and FRS 101
• Prepare Group journals under IFRS-IFRS 15, IFRS 9 and IFRS 16
• Produce Group Accounts and support Group Accountant with analysis and commentary.
