About the Department
The IT Department’s role is to provide IT Systems Support, maintenance, application development and guidance for local IT matters.
Job Purpose
To enhance, support and maintain our Financial Systems whilst providing full support to Finance Team end users.
Main Responsibilities
- Will be involved in maintaining and supporting Dynamics AX 2009.
- End user support – analyse user reported issues, keeping the Helpdesk ticket to a minimum number.
- Provide functional consultancy
- Write Specification and code
- Support the Infrastructure team on architecture development
- Liaise with users to understand reported issues and be able to analyse and point out where issues lie.
- Expected to make recommendations on required system changes/enhancements as per user requests.
- Produce technical specifications based on functional design specifications for customized solutions in Dynamics AX.
- Liaise with Infrastructure Team for any Infrastructure related issues or requirements surrounding Windows environment.
- Liaise with external suppliers to escalate issues.
- Enhance minor customized solutions using X++ for Dynamics AX 2009.
- Liaise with other Development Teams to workout Integration Issues.
- Create User Manual/Documentation
